Proper hard drive disposal and destruction of cell phones, flash drives, and other electronic media is key to keeping your data secure. Green Planet 21 provides Certificates of Destructions and a scanned list of serial numbers for material we shred and destroy.

Erik Brown says about the shredded hard-drives, “As you can see, it turns into rubble. There’s no way you’re going to get any information out of this.”

For many different customers, including within their data centers where they’re storing records on their own servers or in cases of employee laptops, they need to destroy the hard-drives with sensitive information. As a truckload of documents’ worth of information can be stored on a single hard-drive, it is of the utmost importance that the hard-drives are securely destroyed.
